When it comes to finding mental clarity, it doesn’t matter if you’re a CEO. An artist. A stay-at-home parent. Or a full-time grad student. In an increasingly chaotic world, finding that mental clarity is an essential tool.
Here are three tips to help you find mental clarity in a crazy world:
1 — Set aside time each day for yourself
In today’s hectic world, getting lost in the shuffle and forgetting to take care of yourself is easy.
Set aside at least 30 minutes each day to do something you enjoy. Whether reading, taking a walk, or listening to music. This time will allow you to clear your mind. And recharge your batteries. So that you can face the rest of the day with a fresh perspective.
2 — Set time limits for work and stick to them
If you find yourself getting lost in your career, setting time limits for each task can be helpful. That way, you can focus on the task and not worry about everything else that needs to be done.
Once the timer goes off, take a break and clear your head before moving on to the next task.
3 — Take breaks throughout the day
In addition to breaks between tasks, a few minutes every hour to step away from what you’re doing can be helpful.
Get up, stretch, grab a quick snack, or walk around the block. These mini-breaks will help keep you refreshed. And focused so that you can power through the rest of the day until quitting time.
