In fact, I have an unexplainable yet intense dislike for spring.

I Love the Sound of Early Spring, but Loathe the Sight Of it. Five birds fly high above pine trees. The sky is grey and dreary.

No, not because it’s too early to enjoy. Or “dirty” looking — though both of those things can be true — but because it heralds a few months of wet weather and a return to the winter blahs.
