We’ve all dealt with them at some point; the idiots, the imbeciles, the morons. Those maddening people are everywhere. And they’re especially prevalent in our lives.

They’re the ones who make us facepalm and wonder how they function in society.

And, if you’re like me, you’ve probably had to deal with them more than you care to admit.

It can drain our time and energy, and sometimes, it can even be a drain on our sanity.

Sometimes they’re harmless, and sometimes they’re not. The harmful ones make you want to pull your hair out. And the harmless ones are just annoying.

But, regardless of whether they’re harmful or not, they make you want to avoid them as much as possible.

Pick your flavor

There are different types of stupid people.

Some say idiotic things. And those who do ridiculous things. And then some are just plain wrong about everything but don’t know it.

Regardless, they’re all infuriating, no matter what type of stupid person you’re dealing with in your life.

What’s the deal?

But there are ways to deal with them.

  • Ignore them: This is often the best course of action. If someone is being an idiot, it’s often not worth your time and energy to engage with them. Just let them talk or do their thing and move on.
  • Be patient: Sometimes, idiot behavior is just a phase or a result of stress. If someone you know is going through a tough time, be patient with them. They’ll hopefully come out of it and be back to their usual selves soon.
  • Be assertive: If someone is repeatedly crossing your boundaries or being disrespectful, it’s essential to be assertive with them. It means setting boundaries and communicating your needs clearly.
  • Avoidance: If all else fails, sometimes the best solution is just to avoid the person altogether. If…
